We handle both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases. Chapter 7 filings benefit debtors with significant debt but with little in the way of income or assets. Chapter 7 cases allows debts to be discharged or forgiven with few exceptions. Chapter 13 cases will last between three to five years, but it allows the clients to retain their assets without the fear of repossession, even if they are behind in their payments, while they catch up those payments with the protection of the Court. We will help the clients determine which type of Bankruptcy best meets their needs.
